The festive costume of women from Mega Zaloufi, a village in the Adrianople area, today Kırcasalih in Turkey. Its people came to Greece as refugees in the population exchange. The women wove it themselves: a brown embroidered chemise with the sleeveless burgundy foustan over it, richly embroidered at the hem. Betrothed girls, brides and newly married women also wore the belt with the korona.
