Who dances it: Couples

A characteristic women's dance from Sinasos, danced in pairs in a style found only there. The steps are those of the handkerchief-and-spoon dance of Varasos, and the emphasis is on the arms: the women join three fingers together, which tradition says stands for the Holy Trinity. Onlookers clapped and sang along, while young men called out to tease and distract the dancers.
