Character
Who dances it: Everyone
A song and dance of the Arvanites of Attica, especially the Mesogeia, sung in Arvanitika with the refrain “Ntarsa liule ntarsa”. In the Arvanite villages of Attica, dance and song were bound up with the public dances of feast days and wedding customs, which women dominated. Cultural associations across Attica dance it today.
