A lively dance of the Greek-Cypriot tradition, which the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO lists in the men's repertoire, alongside the karotseris and the vraka. Beyond the name, it is unrelated to the soustas of Crete and the Dodecanese. Its steps and rhythm still need confirming by a dance teacher.
