Character

Who dances it: Everyone

A men's virtuoso dance of the Greek-Cypriot tradition: the dancer holds and spins a tatsia (sieve) with glasses of wine inside it without spilling a drop. It used to be one glass; today it is often three to five. It is usually danced to the same tune as the knife dance (masairi).
