Character
Who dances it: Everyone
A shoulder-hold dance of Florina, shared with neighbouring North Macedonia. It begins with a step towards the centre and a lift of the right leg, high for men and low for women. In Florina it usually leads straight into the fast 'hasapia', where the men do quick, syncopated hops almost in place.
