Character
Who dances it: Everyone
A Karpathian dance that, as its name says, travels to the left ("zerva"), against the direction of most Greek dances. It belongs to the dances that close the Karpathian glenti and has its own songs. The step differs from village to village, with Olympos, Mesochori and southern-village (Kato Choria) versions, and it often speeds up into a quicker, springier part.
