Costume Women’s
Occasion Bridal Among the women’s costumes of Corfu in the early 20th century, the peseli stands out, a short sleeved velvet jacket worked in gold that was worn all over the island. It was usually the groom’s gift, and the bride first wore it at the wedding. On the head, the Corfiot headdress had a white silk bolia.
