One of the dresses of Megara in the 19th century rests on the kaplamas, a dark cotton dress, tight with long sleeves, that opens below the waist into five slanting panels. With it go a striped apron, a woven sash embroidered with coloured flowers, a red fez and a yellow kerchief. The women of Megara danced the trata in their costumes in front of the church.
