A women’s festive costume of Mytilene in the collection of the Museum of Modern Greek Culture. It is made up of a chemise, a waistcoat, under-drawers, vraka and a cap, of silk, velvet and gold thread. In the museum’s piece the upper garment is purple velvet with gold embroidery and the wide vraka is pale green silk.
